Let me just start by saying this is totally possible, if you go to the right place. For me, that was a trip to RideMakerz at Downtown Disney, with the little dude, for a little one on one bonding. I can tell you, that I felt entirely like my 12 year old self. We had a great time building our Ridez, and getting introduced to some of their newest options, take a look:

You can see there new Camaro and two of the new Cars 2 line, Lightning McQueen and Finn McMissle. What’s so great about RideMakerz is that you can customize and build until the cows come home. Check out the two we built, and by built I mean, attached the body to the chassis, and added our choice of Rims, tires, and trick engines. Little dude was even able to add light bars to his Lightning:
Little dude was stoked:
Now, I’m not gonna steer you wrong, the Ridez can get pretty pricey. The more you customize the higher the price. But you can get out of their for about $60 a car if you choose wisely. I will say too, that these little things can take a beating too, so it’s not something that is going to die on you after running into a couple of walls (my walls can attest to that)
A Fathers day treat!
One last thing, RideMakerz is having a special promotion for Father’s day! By one get one Free, or rather build one, build another for free. Which is a heck of a deal, and great way to spend some time your kids this Father’s day. Here’s the link: RideMakerz Bogo
Disclosure: The kind folks over at Ridemakerz did give us two cars for free as part of their event. But I promise, that did not influence my review in anyway, the only thing that can do that is In-N-Out.
